The Bay Area Host Commitee (BAHC) has agreed to a deal making Kaiser Permanente a “founding partner” and its official medical provider ahead of Super Bowl LX and the FIFA World Cup in 2026. The brand, which joins EA Sports and Boston Consulting Group in the committee’s top sponsorship tier, began activating around its BAHC partnership during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game in February before the formal announcement today.

The PWHL has secured additional linear distribution in the U.S. for its 2025 playoffs, which begin Wednesday night when the Toronto Sceptres host the Minnesota Frost. Starting with Wednesday night’s game, three FanDuel Sports Network channels have the rights to carry all PWHL playoff games, as will several Gray Media, Scripps and Sinclair-owned broadcast stations.

The Canadiens have named a new premium club space at Bell Centre the La Voûte CIBC, or the CIBC Vault, after agreeing to a multiyear expansion of their sponsorship deal with the Canadian bank. CIBC already had naming rights to another premium space, the CIBC Directors Lounge, and branding on the helmets worn by Canadiens players during road games. Financial terms of the sponsorship expansion were not disclosed.

Smith Entertainment Group has renamed its NHL franchise the Utah Mammoth on a permanent basis after the team played its just-completed inaugural season as the Utah Hockey Club. The formal reveal ends a 13-month process that involved four rounds of fan surveys that garnered a total of 850,000 votes, as well as some trademark drama that saw the name “Utah Yeti” taken out of consideration. The organization will retain its black, white and blue color scheme.
