A UMass Boston student, who is accused of setting fire to two Tesla Cybertrucks and two charging stations at a Tesla store in Kansas City, Missouri last month, was arrested in Boston on Friday. The Department of Justice said Owen McIntyre, 19, was caught on surveillance video near the store on the night of the vandalism.

The former assistant chief engineer of facilities for Keolis, who operates the MBTA Commuter Rail, received a sentence of over five years in prison on Thursday in federal court in Boston, for defrauding Keolis of over $8.5 million and for defrauding the Internal Revenue Service of over $2.6 million, the Department of Justice announced on Friday.

New surveillance video released by the MBTA on Friday shows a Commuter Rail train colliding with a tractor-trailer parked on the tracks in Canton last week. The collision happened at the railroad crossing on Pine Street at 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, April 10. From Sky5, it appeared the train struck the Ross Express truck at the crossing and pushed it about 100 feet down the tracks before stopping. The trailer was heavily damaged, and the driver's door was on the ground just past the railroad signal.

Police in Hopkinton are looking for a man accused of vandalizing a parked Tesla on Thursday night.The Hopkinton Police Department describe the man as a white male, who is between 5 foot, 6 inches to 5 foot 9 inches tall, with dark hair, dark facial hair, heavy rimmed eye glasses, a thin build, green or blue light jacket.A screenshot taken from what appears to be the Tesla's rear camera shows the man carrying a large blue barrel.Police said the incident occurred at the College Rock parking...
