Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey said Tuesday that her latest legislative proposal could simplify and cut energy bills for residents and businesses. Healey's proposal is the second stage of an "energy affordability agenda" that she launched in March following customer outrage about skyrocketing energy bills during the winter months. The Healey administration said its initial efforts could save customers nearly $6 billion over five years.

Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa is celebrating its first official bilingual troop.Troop 535 was recognized and celebrated at the organization's annual Inspiring Women of Iowa luncheon.Nearly 80% of the young girls in the group speak Spanish as their first language."In Des Moines alone, more than 25 percent of the school-aged students speak Spanish at home," said troop leader Marlu Abarca.

Conan O'Brien is making a Ryan Reynolds-related revelation as he begins releasing full episodes of his podcast. On a newly released episode of "Conan O'Brien Needs A Friend" dropping Monday night, guest Reynolds talked about that one Mickey Mouse-related line that he says Disney made him cut from last year's hit Marvel film "Deadpool & Wolverine," and then revealed that he was the one in the Deadpool costume dancing behind O'Brien when he hosted the Oscars this past March.

The Omaha Corgi Crew hosted the Corgi Racing at Rivers Edge Park in Council Bluffs, Iowa, on Saturday. The event helps to raise money for small, locally-run shelters. Corgis from all across the area competed in a series of races to make it to the finals. The winner of this year's race was August.Organizers said you never know what the dogs will do once the race starts. "You never know what's going to happen with the Corgis," Melissa Feekin, social media coordinator for Omaha Corgi Crew, said.
