Julian Trummer has announced that he will not be competing in the remainder of year’s edition of the Isle of Man TT road races with the Lionheart Moto Racing team. Trummer qualified 30th in the Superbike class and 29th in Superstock, aboard Lionheart's Kawasaki ZX-10RR, during last week’s qualifying sessions. Trummer’s best lap was a 123.938mph effort set on Friday.

Second-placed MotoGP rider Alex Marquez says beating his brother and current championship leader Marc Marquez may require more than “pushing to the limit” at this weekend’s Aragon MotoGP. Ducati Lenovo Team’s Marquez comes into this weekend with a 24-point championship lead over Alex Marquez, and he arrives to a circuit at which he has won eight races in the past (including all classes, and Sprints).

Factory Yamaha test rider Augusto Fernandez says he has two engine specifications available to him at the Aragon MotoGP, but that neither are the brand’s in-development V4. The Aragon Grand Prix will mark Fernandez’s first race weekend in the colours of Yamaha’s official test team, as he makes his first wildcard appearance since signing for the Iwata marque last November.

This weekend’s 8 Hours of Spa Motos will see John McPhee make his debut in the Endurance World Championship. The British rider, who this year is contesting his first season in the British Superbike Championship with the MasterMac Honda team, will race for the established Tati Team AVA6 squad, aboard their Honda CBR1000RR-R at this weekend’s second round of the 2025 EWC season.

Honda has announced that its factory WorldSBK rider, Xavi Vierge, will attempt to race at the upcoming Emilia-Romagna Round at Misano. Vierge, who crashed and suffered fractures to his right foot in Race 2 at Most’s Czech Round in May, underwent surgery on 20 May to repair fractures to his cuboid bone in his right foot. This week, the Spaniard has reintroduced his right foot into training sessions.
