    One man is in police custody after he allegedly slit the throat of a 60-year-old woman. The incident took place at about 3.45 p.m. on Sunday at a home along Railway Trace in Longdenville. The victim was said to be at home when she got into an argument with a 42-year-old male relative. During the confrontation, the suspect grabbed a cutlass and placed it to the victim's neck. He then cut her throat. Other relatives at the home immediately intervened, and the police and paramedics were notified.
