A passenger who had only hours before landed at the Piarco International Airport, was shot dead before he could even leave the compound this morning. A second person was wounded when gunmen opened fire on a car parked near the Arrivals area. It happened shortly before 2:30 a.m., when a man, having just arrived on a flight into Trinidad and Tobago, was walking toward a waiting black SUV. Gunmen opened fire on the vehicle, fatally wounding one occupant.
