There are reports that a 3.8 magnitude earthquake occurred last night near 10pm. The epicenter was approximately 225km south of Nova Scotia with the closest location being East Lawrencetown in the HRM. I don’t know much about earthquakes since we very seldom deal with them locally so I looked up the magnitude scale: Earthquake Magnitude ScaleMagnitudeEarthquake EffectsEstimated Number Each Year2.5 or lessUsually not felt, but can be recorded by seismograph.

Elbows Up! This summer, the Government of Canada is offering the Canada Strong Pass. This will grant you free or discounted admissions to various tourist destinations across the country from June 20 to September 2. The best part? This isn’t a physical pass that you need to purchase, sign up for, or collect. You’re welcome to submit one name or several.”I’m sure there will be plenty of joke names, but if you’re interested or have a great idea — CLICK HERE!
