WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Hiring is underway for a new snack and ice cream shop in Wausau’s Riverlife District. Sweets and Slice will occupy the space once leased by Briq’s. The shop will sell ice cream, shakes, and pizza. CMA Wausau LLC will operate the store. They also own Sawmill Adventure Park in Rothschild. WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - Summer is will be here before you know it and so will those summertime concessions. Monday night the Parks and Recreation Committee approved a lease for a new company to fill the space once held by Briq’s at Riverlife Park. After Briq’s left a vacancy at Riverlife park, a new business is swooping in to serve up some sweet treats.
