GREENWOOD – Lewis-Clark State Baseball had four student-athletes earn College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, announced by CSC on Tuesday. Brandon Cabrera earned the honor for the second straight year while Robby Butenschoen, Charlie Updegrave and Noah Weintraub garnered their first accolade. To be named CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing and maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.

LEWISTON – LC State Men’s Basketball announced the next addition to its incoming class in Jaaziel Pierce. The 6-7 forward will join the Warriors in the fall out of Saint George’s School. “Jaaziel has as impressive of a motor as you’ll see in a high school recruit,” coach Austin Johnson said. “Coach Peplinski at St. George’s really helped him expand his game and put him in spots to succeed.

LEWISTON – Coach Katie Palmer announced the 2025 signing class for LC State Volleyball on Tuesday. The group features eight student-athletes that will bring a plethora of talent to the 2026 roster. The incoming class includes: Jordynn Albright, Alba Carpena, Kendall Focht, Kadence Moore, Michaela Romine, Mikale Roy, Helena Stewart and Ashlyn Watt. “The 2025 recruiting class embodies what it means to be a Warrior,” Palmer said.

MARION – Griffen Parsells capped his LC State career with an All-American finish in the 800m to close out the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships. Trenton Johnson also had a strong showing in the triple jump to conclude the season for the Warriors. Parsells finished sixth overall in the 800m race with a time of 1:51.42. The senior wrapped up his LC State career with his fifth All-American accolade overall and third in an individual 800m race.

LC State standouts London Kirk and Sydnie Zywina had their storied careers come to an end, and the men's 4x400m relay finished well above its ranking on the second day of the 2025 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships.
