Dave Davis, most recently president and chief financial officer at Sun Country, will take the reins at Spirit starting Monday, with an announcement as soon as Thursday, according to people familiar with the matter.

United Airlines doesn’t expect tariffs to have a significant impact on what it pays for planes, Chief Executive Scott Kirby said. Most of the aircraft deliveries United is waiting on will come from Boeing, and most of its new Airbus planes are being built in Alabama, though the network of suppliers that the plane makers rely on is spread throughout the world.

Delta Air Lines said its revenue growth has stalled due to broad uncertainty about global trade. The Trump administration’s “across the board” approach to tariffs is complicating matters, according to Chief Executive Ed Bastian. “We understand there’s a role to play with tariffs in trade policy. It’s just hard when you’re trying to do all of them all at the same time,” Bastian said in an interview.
