We start the day mostly clear and sunny under high pressure. Temperatures warm up to the low 70s between the sunshine and deep southerly flow. We remain mostly clear this evening as high pressure remains, though some areas become a bit breezy. Temperatures tonight are mild in the low 50s, thanks to continued southerly flowBy tomorrow morning, clouds will gradually build in. Our first few showers likely won’t arrive until the late afternoon, and severe storms may arrive as late as the mid-evening.

By the late afternoon, a few scattered showers may roll through the Southern Tier, and we may even hear a few rumbles of thunder. Temperatures today top off in the mid-70s.
