The lingering mystery of who will replace Jesse Winker on the roster has been solved. SNY’s Andy Martino reported Monday that Brett Baty would re-join the team that day. Baty, 25, started the season with the big league club but found himself on the outside looking in when Jeff McNeil returned from the IL last month and with Luisangel Acuña‘s hot streak. The now-minted utility player, who saw time at third and second in 2025, was hitting .204/.246/.352/.597 before his demotion.
