CBI raids house of aap leader in funding case New Delhi, April 18 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday raided the residence of senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and former MLA Durgesh Pathak, in connection with its probe into allegations that the party received foreign funds in violation of FCRA and the Representation of the People Act, 1951. The agency had registered an FIR on April 14, based on an earlier ED probe.

Delhi chief minister Rekha Gupta, who is also the finance minister, presented her first budget on Tuesday for 2025-26 with a total provision of ₹1 lakh crore, an increase of around 31% than the previous year. Calling it a “historic” budget for a “viksit Dilli” (developed Delhi), Gupta said that corruption and inefficiency in the government will be weeded out and they will make efforts to utilise all budget provisions, as well as the central aids and grants that it receives.

India, March 5 -- New DelhiPublic Works Department (PWD) minister Parvesh Verma on Tuesday approved a proposal to transfer the 13.23-kilometre stretch of Delhi-Rohtak Road (NH-10) from Peeragarhi Chowk to Tikri border to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to develop it as an expressway. Verma said the Union minister of road transport and highways (MoRTH), Nitin Gadkari, has agreed to the move in principle and will facilitate the upgrade of the corridor into a "world class" highway.
