The Government has advised the public to be wary of a fake TikTok account created in the name of the Minister of Economy and Labour. The account carries the name and image of Jason Hayward. A spokesman said Mr Hayward does not own a TikTok account, and warned that any content posted under profile should be regarded as false and misleading. The spokesman said the account in question, located at www.tiktok.com/@mp.jasonhayward, is not authorised, endorsed or operated by Mr Hayward or the ministry.

The Senate has approved legislation enabling tax cuts on diverse products ranging from fuel for generating electricity to construction materials and imported motor vehicle parts. The Customs Tariff Amendment Act 2025 also eliminates the duty on hospital operating supplies and lowers the duty rate on air-conditioning units and parts.

A race by the Bermuda Bicycle Association will affect traffic in Paget and Southampton next Sunday, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said. The Bermuda Junior Cycling Road Race will start at 8am and is expected to conclude by 11am. The ministry said the race would begin and end on South Road near the Gulfstream restaurant in Southampton. It will pass through parts of St Paul's Lane, Middle Road and Lighthouse Road. No road closures or parking restrictions are scheduled.
