Think we were done with the unreleased tech from Unbound? Absolutely not. The more we perused and talked with the top athletes of Unbound Gravel, the more unreleased, prototype, and new gear we were able to track down. Yes, there's a range of athletes and unreleased bikes here. Factor brought a duo of prototype gravel bikes, and we caught Ivar Slik on a prototype Wilier gravel bike.

The entire Cameron Jones story is wild. The New Zealander came to the 2025 Unbound Gravel looking for a wildcard selection to get into the Life Time Grand Prix, just over a year after making his mark at the Sea Otter Classic Gravel race by placing eighth amongst a stacked roster. Take a look at the State Bicycle Company 4130 All-Road in photos, and this steel gravel bike seems to check all the boxes. You're getting a durable frame (#steelisreal), a newly added 12-speed wide-range drivetrain, tubeless-ready tires and wheels, and branding that makes the bike feel cohesive. It's an awfully photogenic bike to boot. And for $999 USD, it feels like an unbeatable value, too. Is a bike like the State Bicycle 4130 All-Road too good to be true? Kinda. Sorta.

Unbound Gravel has quickly become a hotbed of new and unreleased tech, perhaps more so this year than any other. We got the chance to check out the show, meet the pros, and get a brief glimpse of the latest unreleased and new gear from Unbound that the pros have. We also dug into their setups prior to the race to learn about strategy, tire choice, and more.

Wow @Cyclingnewsfeed to layoff, Barry Ryan, who is one of your top and best writers, is quite a low move. Unbelievable. Good luck filling his shoes. Love your loyalty. 🤏
