Nina, a pit bull mix, has been at the City Dogs Cleveland shelter in Ohio since December 19, 2024. She was found as a stray before being taken to the shelter in the search of a loving home. While she's had a little adoption interest over the past few months, almost five months later she is still waiting for a home.

The internet has been reduced to tears by a dog who was abandoned by her owners and found waiting alone on the porch, desperate to get inside. Taylor Bullock, founder and CEO of Happy Tails Animal Rescue, was horrified when she saw a Facebook post about a dog whose owners moved out and left her behind. Bullock, of Terre Haute, Indiana, was in disbelief, telling Newsweek that she "kept refreshing the post all day" to see if there was any update on this sweet pup.

A dog owner has left the internet in stitches by revealing how he knows he's only the spare human in his household. In a TikTok video posted by user @sadiethesableshepherd, the three dogs can be seen fast asleep, with two on the sofa and one lounging on the floor. As their male owner tries to wake them up, he asks if they want to go outside or want a treat-but nothing works. It seems as though nothing could wake the three large dogs from their slumber.
