The Fort Wayne Public Works Department says crews will be completing railroad overpass work. The closure is expected to take place from Monday, June 23 through Wednesday, June 25. Drivers traveling northbound should detour on W. Masterson Ave., Fairfield Ave. and W. Baker St.Drivers traveling southbound should detour on W.

    Kroger has announced plans to close 60 stores in the country after its first quarter earning results last week. Kroger, which has nine stores in the Fort Wayne area and more than 2,700 stores in the United States, did not name the stores closing. However, they stated that about 60 will close over the next year and a half. Kroger stores say they will offer roles in other stores to all associates currently employed at affected stores, but word on those locations has not yet been released.

    (Photo Supplied/Indiana State Police) FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) – 14 people were arrested during the Indiana State Police’s high-visibility patrol in Steuben County on Thursday. Five troopers worked on the patrol, which led to multiple arrests, including one for drug-related charges, six for OWI and one for driving without ever receiving a license. A total of 14 people were taken to jail during the efforts. 21 Alive News reports that 59 tickets were issued along with 23 warnings.
