NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - At least 70 shots were fired in a shootout outside of a downtown Nashville nightclub early Monday morning, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department. Investigators said a group got into a fight at LA Danse Nashville at the corner of Commerce Street and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard. Some of the people began walking towards the Tempo Hotel across the street but then turned and started firing back towards the club, police said.

It often takes place on busy roads and some drivers in Tennessee have raised concerns after spotting panhandlers with young children.
