TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — It’s another muggy start across Tampa Bay with temperatures quickly climbing and the humidity making it feel even hotter. By mid-morning, it already feels like the low 90s, and by lunchtime, it will feel like triple digits. The peak of the day brings some of the most intense heat, with “feels like” temps hovering around 106° through the mid-afternoon. If you’re spending any time outside today, take it slow and stay hydrated.

Tampa, Fla. (WFLA) — Tampa Bay temperatures remain warm this week. Tonight will cool into the 70s under clear skies and calm winds, with inland areas drying out after some scattered afternoon storms. Wednesday will be another sunny day with a quick warm-up into the low 90s. High humidity will make it feel even hotter. Afternoon storms are likely, especially in Highlands County. Thursday brings more of the same—mainly inland storms during the afternoon. But Friday marks a shift in the pattern.
