North Adams Police said officers reportedly witnessed a supposed drug deal at an undisclosed location. A vehicle then reportedly drove off, which police stopped and searched. Johnathan Bump Sr. was found with approximately 395 grams of cocaine/crack cocaine, which had a street value between $23,000 and $31,000. He was charged with trafficking cocaine.

    GREENFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) - A portion of Main Street in Greenfield will be closed as the city continues to make water repairs. From 7 a.m. through 3 p.m. throughout the rest of the week, the corridor between Greenfield Savings Bank and the library will not be accessible to traffic. Eastbound traffic in the area will remain open.

The work is being done along the power line corridor, so residents in Becket, Blandford, Granville, Lee, Otis, Russell, and Southwick may hear the helicopters at work. Eversource said tree trimming will prevent power outages or potential public safety issues. It also reduces the time and risk of crews doing it manually.

School resource officers were able to speak with possible witnesses and suspects, which led them to find a non-working Orbeez gun, a toy gel-blaster, at a Pittsfield teenager's home, which was pictured in the social media post in question.
