Early Sunday morning, the radar showed light shower activity across central Indiana. However, there was not much rainfall associated with wave due to the dry air mass hovering over Ohio. At best, it produced a few isolated sprinkles. The added cloud cover overnight prevented lows from dropping as much as they did on Saturday morning.

Skies were clear throughout central Indiana this Saturday morning. The Freeze Warning expired at 9 AM for the area as temperatures climbed above 32-degrees. Temperatures did drop into the upper 20s and lower 30s earlier this morning. We are tracking a dry and pleasant weekend for the state. Skies will remain mostly sunny today with a high-pressure feature hovering over Indiana and Illinois. Winds will remain light and out of the northwest through the afternoon as highs rise into the mid to upper 50s.

It was another chilly morning throughout central Indiana as lows dropped into the upper 20s and lower 30s. Skies were clear at first, but cloud cover continues to build into the Indianapolis area at 8 AM. There are already sprinkles/flurries showing up on the radar in our northwestern counites, which includes the Lafayette, Monticello and Delphi areas. During the morning hours, skies will become overcast areawide, and there will be a chance for sprinkles/flurries.

There is a chill in the air this morning as temperatures fall to the mid to upper 20s. The northerly breeze is also creating wind chills in the teens at times. Kids will need to wear heavy coats while waiting for school buses! At least skies will be mostly clear throughout the day as highs rise into the mid-40s. Temperatures today are running about 15 degrees below average for the date. Flooding is an ongoing issue across southern Indiana this morning.
