Jessica Stern-Enzi started Beyond Grain Bakery six years ago after she was diagnosed with diabetes and an autoimmune thyroid disease. She says she always loved to bake, but had to switch up a lot of her recipes due to her dietary needs. While doing so, she discovered a need in the market - an allergy-friendly bakery.

CINCINNATI (WXIX) -A local mother of seven has created a digital travel guide to connect visitors to different cultural events and Black businesses in the area, paving the way for independent Black women. Azizah Nubia created the Cincy Black Travel Guide in July 2023 to help visitors experience the best of Black culture in the city and find the best deals on concerts, flights, and events in the area. Nubia noticed a need for an idea like this after attending Black Tech Week in the Tri-State area.
