Witnesses contacted Hull Wildlife Protectors on 11 January at 23:45 GMT to report a group of boys throwing sticks and stones at the animals in Peter Pan Park.

Parking signs have been damaged and removed in a series of incidents in Lincoln. Police are investigating a number of crimes relating to a residential parking scheme in the Burton Road area, including theft, intimidation and public order offences. Some signs in Albany Street, Mill Road, Turner Street and Waldeck Street have been spray-painted while others have been completely removed from their posts.

She hopes her community cooking group will inspire others around the UK [BBC ]Members of a Facebook group are providing a "lifeline" for dozens of people by cooking them free meals. Cooking for Kindness was set up by Bea Maskery, from Bourne, Lincolnshire, in September and already has more than 1,400 followers. Volunteers advertise freshly made meals in the group, which can then be collected or delivered to those in need.

Students at Lincoln Christ's Hospital School (LCHS) celebrated the milestone by burying two time capsules on school grounds. Robin Foyster, chairman of LCHS committee, said it was a "significant moment for the school".
