After scaffolding and coverings are removed, 29 restored trusses and a series of ornamental floral-effect joins will be revealed.     The search for a former firefighter from Beverley who went missing is continuing as police appeal for witnesses. Richard Mason, 55, was last seen on CCTV heading north along the banks of the river Hull in the direction of High Eske nature reserve at 09:37 GMT on 30 December, police said. He was described as 6ft (1.8m) tall with dark brown hair, a bushy beard and is believed to be wearing a tan coat, dark denim trousers with a dark hat.

    A farmer used a digger to rescue his grandparents from their flooded home. Ryan Wesley drove them to safety in the digger's bucket after the couple, who are in their 80s, escaped through a bedroom window of their bungalow in Billingborough, Lincolnshire, on Monday. Along with her father, Dean, he also rescued a pregnant woman and elderly people before the water got too deep for the digger to operate.
