Mufasa is a household name. Everyone knows the story of the king of Pride Rock who met his untimely end due to his brother’s deceit. But what we didn’t know was how his story began. In the original 1994 film, it’s stated that Mufasa is Scar’s older brother, so he simply inherited the throne from their parents, but in the 2019 CG-remake, nuances in Mufasa and Scar’s first scene together paint a different picture.

It’s no secret that the second season of Andor will lead directly into the Rogue One. Up until now, however, it was unclear if there would be any more familiar faces appearing (besides K-2) to help close the gap between both entries. According to The Playlist, fans should expect Ben Mendelsohn to return in some capacity as the villainous Orson Krennic. The outlet points out that he’ll most likely appear towards the end of the season/series though.
