When the weather gets warm and the kids get done with school, strawberry season is upon us. Most people enjoy eating strawberries, but that's not where it ends for many Milwaukee families who eagerly wait for the berries to be ripe enough to head out to the farm to pick their own. And the pick-your-own season can be notoriously fleeting. It's typically only from mid-June through the Fourth of July. When farms are open is also notoriously unreliable.
