Qualcomm Inc. said it’s weighing an offer for Alphawave IP Group Plc after the London-listed semiconductor company’s shares declined. Qualcomm said there’s no certainty that it will make an offer. The San Diego-based chip firm will have to make a decision about whether to make an offer by April 29 to comply with the UK’s takeover rules, Qualcomm said in a statement on Tuesday. Alphawave has been the subject of takeover rumors.
