Ram Trucks is celebrating an important milestone – the company’s Sterling Heights, Michigan assembly facility (SHAP) has just produced its 2,000,000th Ram 1500 pickup truck. The 2-millionth truck is a 2025 Ram 1500 RHO off-road truck with a towing mirror package. This celebration also comes just months after the SHAP marked its 40th anniversary as a Stellantis/FCA facility. Tim Kuniskis, the Ram brand CEO, had the following to say.

When we ran our first Denver 100 MPG highway loop in our new 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid AWD we were a bit disappointed by a less than desirable result. Ford called us and said that we should have waited to test the efficiency of this tiny truck until it has around 4,000 miles on the odometer. They said that it would provide a more realistic MPG result, and this is also what the EPA expects and does for their certification.

@asmirnov12 just saw the recent snow tire test, great job! I was thinking I'd like to see a similar test with a Silverado. Run it 2wd, with 4wd Auto, 4H and 4L. I'd be interested what the acceleration and breaking results would be in snow. Thanks!
