    In honor of Hunger Action Month — observed in September — Stetson’s Hatter Food Pantry partnered with U.S. Hunger to put together 10,000 red lentil jambalaya meals Tuesday, Sept. 17, at the Rinker Field House. “We witnessed a taste of the soul of Stetson in our community coming together with joy and enthusiasm committed to actively addressing food insecurity on our campus and in Volusia County,” said Rev.     Azerbaijan, Czech Republic, Egypt, Haiti, Pakistan, Serbia and Thailand were some of the 20 countries of origin of the 30 new American citizens who took the Oath of Allegiance at a Citizenship and Naturalization Ceremony inside of Lee Chapel on Tuesday, Sept. 17. “I can see that the journey our students are taking and the journey you are taking are in some ways similar,” said President Christopher F. This day offers people around the globe a chance to embrace peace despite our differences and work towards fostering a culture of harmony.
