The German exchange students are part of the German American Partnership Program (GAPP), offering students from Hann. Münden a firsthand experience of American school life, culture and community, through Brockway Area Junior-Senior High School and DuBois Central Catholic High School.

BROCKWAY — Fourteen students from Brockway Area Junior-Senior High School went to the DECA state competition, finding success in multiple categories. DECA, formerly Distributive Education Clubs of America, is an international, non-profit student organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management.

My family’s Easter traditions are some of the few holiday traditions that are fluid. Part of that was because of church. We attended one church growing up, then Dad became a pastor at another church, then that church moved on and he became the pastor of the church he currently has. On Easter when I was little, my sister and I would get new Easter outfits from my grandparents, and we’d dress up for Sunrise Service and so on. The last suit I remember was blue with a red tie.
