While it was a bit on the cool side for the Yankee Home Opener in the Bronx, the sun was out, making it not that bad of a day. The good news is that we will get a taste of summer heading into the weekend. Skies will remain generally clear for much of Thursday evening. Overnight, a weak system passes to the north, bringing in some clouds and the threat of a shower. Temperatures will trail into the mid 40s. A southerly breeze develops on Friday, allowing for some moderation in temperatures.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — While it was a taste of spring on Monday and Tuesday as the region saw highs in the 60s, the rest of the week will not be as nice. Temperatures will still be above normal, but we will not see the 60s again until the latter part of the weekend. A dry cold front will pass through the region bringing a breeze from the northeast on Tuesday night. Temperatures are expected to trail down into the low to mid 40s.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A weakening frontal boundary brought more clouds around for much of the day before the sun broke through late on Thursday. Another weak front looks to bring more clouds to close out the week, but temperatures are on the climb heading into the weekend. The skies will continue to feature more clouds around for Thursday night. Overnight temperatures will dip to around 60 degrees. Friday will continue to feature intervals of sun and clouds.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — While the last couple of days felt more like a taste of autumn, a pleasant warmup is in store heading into the weekend. The winds will shift to the southwest allowing the temperatures to moderate, and it will stay dry during this period as well. A few clouds associated with the meandering disturbance in New England will dissipate into the evening hours on Thursday night. It will not be as cool as well with overnight temperatures dropping into the lower 60s.

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The mild temperatures continue on Friday and the sunshine is expected through the weekend. Friday’s high will be 70 degrees but clouds will move in late on Friday night. The evening will still be nice with the temperatures trailing down through the 60s. An approaching storm will pass to the north bringing in a stray shower into the overnight hours. Temperatures will eventually bottom out in the lower 50s. Friday should be mainly dry with a mix of sun and clouds.
