Welcome home. This is Audio EXP for June 21st, and the episode title is “It’s not over for Wizards of the Coast”. [The following is a transcript of Audio EXP: #291][Also on Stitcher | Spotify | Apple | YouTube]Diane Ramic won the RPG Publisher Spotlight this month. I’ve questions with Diane and hopefully haven’t flooded the poor woman with them. I’m just interested in both xenobiology and speculative biology. Evil Hat has walked from their deal with Crystal Dynamics to produce an official Tomb Raider tabletop roleplaying game. In Onyx Path Publishing’s reimagined 5th Edition roleplaying game setting, players encounter the epic grandeur of Greek mythology, yet do so in a unique place in modern fantasy.

CharGen is a free tool you can use right in your browser to whip up D&D-style character portraits, monsters, and battle maps in no time. Plus, it can help you create complete taverns and shops packed with items and backstories!Impressive? Yes, but also controversial as CharGen embraces generative AI and a good portion of the tabletop RPG community loathes the technology.

Damn. Mozilla is shutting down Pocket. That will hit my processes hard. I suspect I'll migrate my bookmarks to Notion and have until October to it. Goodbye Pocket, you were a good 'un.
