Meta has unveiled a range of new ad updates at NewFronts 2025, including improved creator collaboration tools, a new means to tap into trending Reels, updated Partnership Ads, video ads on Threads, and more. Pinterest has shared its latest performance update, recording solid increases in both user and revenue in Q1 2025. First off on users. Pinterest added 17 million more monthly actives in the period, taking it up to 570 million MAU. As you can see in this chart, Pinterest has been steadily growing its user base, with Q1 seeing its biggest increase in users, in raw numbers, over the past five quarters.

X has once again moved to block a range of accounts in India, at the request of Indian government officials, amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan, and Indian authorities looking to manage the situation. Which goes against X’s free speech principles, but when the alternative is that X will be shut down in the region, in a time of need, it does seem like a reasonable compromise.
