Recent death in Belfast highlights the urgent need for legislative changesDuring Road Safety Week last month, Northern Ireland was tragically reminded of how little progress we’ve made in protecting vulnerable road users, such as cyclists and pedestrians. Gary McMahon (58) died following a collision involving a lorry in north Belfast — an all-too-familiar tragedy that happened in the very week dedicated to raising awareness about road safety.
