LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — The Arkansas Health Care Association has just opened a nursing school with campuses in Little Rock, Jonesboro, and Rogers as part of an effort to fill a critical gap in staffing at nursing homes. AHCA says it is the first long-term care provider in the country to offer a nursing school like this to its employees. AHCA is Arkansas’ largest organization of long-term care providers, representing 95 percent of licensed nursing homes in the state.
