NORFOLK, NEB. -- The Norfolk Fire Division and Norfolk Police responded to a plane crash that occurred just south of the Norfolk Regional Airport shortly before 8:00 PM on Monday night. Footage obtained from the scene confirms that one plane went down; however, details regarding injuries and the number of passengers on board remain unclear.

MADISON, Neb. -- One person is in custody following a standoff outside of a Madison home Thursday afternoon. According to Madison County Sheriff Todd Volk, one male was taken in. He was the only person inside the house and no injuries were reported. After nearly two hours, two dogs exited the house first. Shortly after, the man walked out and was quickly subdued by police. The cause of arrest is not yet clear.

NORFOLK, Neb. -- The popular Mimosa Fest is set to return to Downtown Norfolk this Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Now in its fourth year, the event will feature live music, food vendors, and, of course, plenty of mimosas. "We invite a lot of people to come on down and enjoy the afternoon, the morning, the evening because it's filled with live music all day long," said Caelan Debban, event organizer. "So 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. there is always some kind of live music going on.
