    HONEY CREEK, Iowa (WOWT) - Pottawattamie County officials are looking for public input on plans for Crescent Hill at Hitchcock. The new name is a nod to the ski area’s history, according to the master plan draft. The county says the strategy for the recreational area that includes the former Mount Crescent will be developed with an emphasis on conservation and connection with the surrounding community, education, and financial viability. The draft was unveiled Saturday.

    PILGER, Neb. (WOWT) - A 51-year-old Omaha man was tased after he allegedly tried to bite a Stanton County deputy who was trying to arrest him as a trespassing suspect. Paul Heimann is facing charges of criminal trespassing, obstructing a police officer, resisting arrest, and third-degree assault on a peace officer. “The two juveniles present were cooperative and were each given written warnings for Criminal Trespass,” according to a Friday report from the Stanton County Sheriff’s Office.
