Independent Jewish Day School retained their status as Year 5 and 6 Mixed Netball champions after they won the latest Maccabi GB inter-school sports tournament. One of eight schools taking part in the competition, which was sponsored by All Aboard Charity Shops, 11 teams competed for the winners’ medal. An action-packed afternoon saw 115 players take to the court, watched on by a further 50 spectators, and saw IJDS beat Alma 2-1 in the final to claim back-to-back success.
