    Sunday afternoon’s TT qualifying has been delayed because of more poor weather this morning. The Mountain Road will close after the conclusion of this morning’s Legacy Lap with the rest of the Mountain Course shutting at 1.30pm. Qualifying for the Superbike and Superstock machines is due to start at 2pm. Roads are due to re-open no later than 6.30pm.

    The TT Grandstand (Dave Kneale)TT organisers have released a revised schedule for Sunday. It will now be another afternoon of qualifying, with the day’s scheduled six-lap Superbike race postponed until later in the week. The Mountain Road will close as planned at 11.30am with the rest of the course shutting at 12.30pm. The Superbike/Superstock class will be out first at 1.30pm after only getting a lap or so in on Saturday before the weather closed in.

The Saltburn man piloted his 8TEN Racing Superstock BMW round the Mountain Course in just a smidgen over 17 minutes from a standing start. That gave him an average speed of 133.155mph, the fastest of the week across all classes.
