DeWalt tools, founded by a tradesman who developer a radial saw, is marking its 100th anniversary this year with an expanded training program, product launches and a series of promotional efforts. The company says it has championed the trades since its founding, and the company began offering annual DeWalt Trades Scholarships for trades education in 2019. Last year, the company pledged $30 million over five years for its Grow the Trades initiatives to support active and aspiring tradespeople.

A survey found that 89 percent of Americans wash their hands after using a public facility, with those who don’t citing such problems as sinks that don’t work. The finding in the Healthy Handwashing Survey by Bradley Company was among the negative reactions to pubic bathrooms. A majority (68 percent) responded they’ve had a particularly unpleasant experience in a public restroom due to the facilities, such as clogged toilets and dirty appearance.
