Sega has announced that Virtua Fighter 5 REVO is coming to consoles, including Nintendo Switch 2, with additional content, and revealed a new fighter for the next instalment. Revealed during a live stream event on Sunday, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio showed the first footage of classic fighter Wolf Hawkfield, who will be appearing in the next Virtua Fighter game, which was first announced in December.

Sega has announced a new Virtua Fighter Direct live stream for this weekend, in which it says it will share news on the series. The Virtua Fighter 2025 Spring Direct will take place on Sunday, May 11, at 7 am PDT, and “reveal new developments in the Virtua Fighter series,” Sega said. The last Virtua Fighter live stream took place in December, and focused on Virtua Fighter V R.E.V.O., the updated game that released for consoles and PC in January.

Former PlatinumGames designer Hideki Kamiya says he’d like to work on his classic Capcom action games Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe again. Kamiya was recently reunited with his former employer via his new studio Clovers, which is creating a sequel to another of his classic titles, Okami. Speaking via his YouTube channel, Kamiya was asked if he’d like to use the opportunity to revisit some of his other Capcom games, namely the first Devil May Cry, which he directed.

Skater and Jackass star Bam Margera has officially been added to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4. “BAM. IS. BACK. We’re stoked to announce Bam Margera’s return to THPS 3+4 as a Secret Skater in game,” publisher Activision announced on its social media accounts. Bam Margera, known for his roles in Jackass, Viva La Bam and the Tony Hawk series, was seemingly missing from the THPS 3 + 4 roster when it was announced earlier this year.

PlayStation has revealed a special edition Death Stranding 2: On the Beach PS5 DualSense controller, which is set to release alongside the game next month. “We worked closely with Kojima Productions on the controller design, customized with the insignia and motto of Drawbridge in vibrant orange,” wrote Sony Interactive Entertainment’s marketing VP, Isabelle Tomatis.
