To recognize Mental Health Awareness Month, Indio High School hosted a special event in the gymnasium for students on Thursday. But for Gen X and baby boomers, talking about trauma and feelings can be taboo. "We never talked about anything outside of the house, you know, all of, all of our family stuff stayed in the family.
