    Clemson men’s basketball is back on a roll, winning two conference matchups in a row. Most recently, the Tigers took down the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 70-59 in the McCamish Pavilion in Atlanta. In the contest, Georgia Tech’s (8-10, 2-5 ACC) leading scorer and starting guard Lance Terry was listed as out due to a wrist/hand injury. The injury sprouted a weakness for the Yellow Jackets — one which Clemson guard Jaeden Zackery took full advantage of on both sides of the ball from start to finish.

    Honorable Mention: Brawl Bowl of 2004The brawl is not a positive memory for either team, but it was too memorable in Palmetto Bowl history to leave it off the list altogether. Heading into this game, Clemson was 5-5 and was looking to make a bowl appearance. The Gamecocks were 6-4 with a chance to take a bowl appearance away from their in-state rival. As the tradition goes, Clemson came running down The Hill in Death Valley, but multiple Gamecock players waited at the bottom.

    The Clemson men’s basketball team hit the road for the first time this season and suffered a loss to Boise State, falling 84-71 at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho. The Tigers sustained their first early setback this season against the nonconference opponent after beginning the previous season on a nine-game winning streak, which included a victory over the Broncos. Clemson’s leading scorer, Chase Hunter, dominated in the first half, scoring 20 points on eight of 10 shots from the field.
