    GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - On Monday, friends and family will gather to remember an Upstate girl killed more than 30 years ago. Tammy Zywicki, a Greenville native and Eastside High School grad, vanishes in 1992 while she was driving back to college in Iowa. Her body was later found on the side of the interstate in Missouri. Zywicki’s family holds events each year in her honor including an annual soccer game at Eastside High where she was a member of the soccer team.

    The women’s field hockey team played the first officials colligate exhibition game of ZBall on Saturday. ZBall was founded in 2022 by Scott Arebena, a sports referee who wanted to create something new. The sport blends together elements of soccer, lacrosse and field hockey all into one. Arbena said the sport is meant to be fun, fast and safe. He plans to host ZBall camps, clinics and tournaments starting in the summer at Clemson.

(FOX Carolina) - Tuesday is the federal tax deadline but in the Carolinas and Georgia, residents have until May 1st to file both federal and state taxes following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) granted relief to South Carolina taxpayers in the wake of Hurricane Helene in October of 2024. This tax relief applies to all 46 South Carolina counties and follows the IRS’s decision to issue relief due to the effects of the storm.

    GREENWOOD, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Greenwood City Police Department said two minors have been charged following a shooting on Wednesday. According to the department, officers were called to a business near West Cambridge Park in response to a shooting around 7 p.m. Upon arrival, four shell casings were found but no one was at the scene. Police said the person who called 911 identified himself as the target of the shooting.

    GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Drivers will soon have to pay to park on the street in Clemson. Starting May 5, the city is enforcing metered parking in the downtown area. Officials said parking will be limited to two hours and cost $1.50. If you leave within the first 30 minutes, parking is free. According to city leaders, they’ll be enforcing metered parking Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., meaning you won’t be able to park overnight.
