Iβve written this post in my head five hundred times, but Iβve only had the time to put pen to paper a month after giving birth. Time seems to move much faster with a baby. Being pregnant was very surreal for me. I donβt think it really hit me until the end, and even then, it felt like an out-of-body experience. To prepare, I did a lot of research. I got the doula. PRINCE GEORGEβS COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) β Ola Ojewumi was born and raised in Prince Georgeβs County, and she now focuses on giving back to the community after a life-changing experience at just 9 years old. βI was blindsided by a diagnosis of a rare heart condition called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). If you watch the news and you see athletes who suddenly drop dead, thatβs typically the condition that they have,β she said. She has been in and out of hospitals since her first diagnosis.
