Florida State University will celebrate its achievements and showcase its various programs during the annual FSU Day at the Capitol. The event will showcase many of the university’s colleges and academic departments, which will have displays and information tables set up on the second and third floors of the Capitol from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19. An outdoor pep rally will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the plaza between the historic and new Capitol buildings.

Florida State University’s College of Criminology and Criminal Justice (CCCJ) has launched a new certificate program to help meet the rising demand for technology and data analysis expertise in law enforcement agencies. The new Certificate in Crime and Intelligence Analysis aims to empower undergraduate students with the tools and hands-on experience to meet that growing need. “This program is a logical extension of our college’s mission of translational research,” Dean Thomas Blomberg said.
