SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The search continues for four people in connection with a shooting in downtown Savannah more than a week ago. That shooting left four men hurt on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Savannah’s mayor is imploring people with information to share it. As we go on just about a week since the Savannah Police Department first shared photos of the people they’re looking to identify, Mayor Van Johnson said the search is getting increasingly important.

(WTOC) - Savannah Mayor Van Johnson on Tuesday called for an investigation into the Savannah Police Department after he said he received several complaints from community members about use of force protocols. “There is a prescribed use of force continuum. We’re trained on it, we’re drilled on it,” said Mayor Johnson. “There are appropriate levels of forces to be used with appropriate levels of resistance.
