On April 3, 2024, FDA published Draft Guidance titled New Dietary Ingredient Notification Master Files for Dietary Supplements (the Draft Guidance). The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently released an  updated list of guidance documents that the agency plans to publish in draft or final form throughout 2024. Notable guidance topics for 2024 include the following: Lead levels. As part of FDA's  Closer to Zero action plan, FDA intends to finalize its draft guidance on action levels for lead in food intended for babies and young children. The current draft guidance was published in January 2023. Arsenic and Cadmium levels.
