(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man returned to Olmsted County Court after being convicted of production of child pornography in federal court. Heath was sentenced to 168 months, or 14 years, with credit for 374 days spent in custody since his arrest. The Olmsted County sentence will be served concurrently, or at the same time as his federal sentence. Heath was also ordered to spend 10 years on probation following his release.

(ABC 6 News) – A Rochester residency challenge won’t go to trial until the week of Thanksgiving at the earliest, according to a May 5 scheduling conference. Shortly after the Nov. 5 election, ousted Ward 4 representative Kelly Rae Kirkpatrick and several residents filed a civil motion in Olmsted County Court challenging Andy Friederichs, the Rochester housing developer elected to represent Ward 5.

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police have finished their investigation into a racially charged incident at Soldier’s Field Park. Police have passed the results of their investigation on to the Rochester City Attorney’s Office — not the County Attorney, who handles most criminal cases. “RPD takes all reports and allegations seriously and must thoroughly gather information to ensure due process,” public information officer Amanda Grayson said in a statement.

(ABC 6 News) – A second Houston, Texas man faces charges in connection with a LeRoy ATM robbery in January of this year. According to court documents, at about 3 a.m. Jan. 11, Mower County deputies responded to First State Bank in LeRoy. A caller told responders she was awakened by a loud bang near the bank, then say that a silver truck had run into the ATM on the north side. It had left the area, according to court documents.
