The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier is a daily publication produced by Lee Enterprises, serving the residents of Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and nearby regions. The newspaper made its debut on November 22, 1859, thanks to founders WH Hartman and George Ingersoll. It transitioned to a daily format in 1890, delivering news every afternoon except on Saturdays. In the spring of 2004, a Saturday morning edition was introduced to the lineup.

WAVERLY — A well that supplies drinking water to the east side of Waverly has elevated levels of two toxic chemicals that persist indefinitely and are newly regulated by the federal government. Tests in January of one of the town’s four wells revealed that it has concentrations of two so-called “forever chemicals” that exceed limits set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency last year.
