    “Brat” was named Collins Dictionary’s word of the year for 2024. The word started being widely used after English pop star Charli xcx came out with her six studio album ‘Brat’, and even though it’s release was almost a year ago the word and phrase “brat summer” is still used today. Charli xcx wrapped up the American leg of the Brat Arena Tour Sunday May 4th in New York City. The star performed four sold-out nights at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

    RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Pop singer Remi Wolf took the stage at Brown’s Island in Richmond on Saturday as a stop on her “Big Ideas” tour. Wolf’s latest album, “Big Ideas,” came out in July 2024, featuring songs such as “Cinderella” and “Toro.” The concert in Richmond was part of the LiVE LOUD Concert Series. The energetic performance on Saturday, April 26, was filled with high kicks from the singer as Wolf performed along a live band.

    17 hours ago RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Dozens of students gathered as rapper Rico Nasty headlined a show on the campus of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) on Friday. The performance, which was held on Friday, April 25, was part of the Activities Programming Board’s (APB) annual Tiny Desk and was held at the campus’s Commons Plaza. Prior to the show, students were able to meet the Maryland native star, during a meet and greet.
